Nashville Acoustic Camps

We are proud to present another "A Weekend With" camp featuring one of the most intuitive, musical, and dedicated women of song you'll ever meet, Billboard-charting songwriter, singer, and Dobro player Abbie Gardner. This long weekend of singing, songwriting, and sliding heaven will feature days of intense lessons and practice with Abbie and evenings of jamming with friends of Abbie and a group trip to see the world famous Grand Ole Opry (ticket included with your camp tuition). This camp is geared toward upper beginning players and beyond who are committed to learning and growing as singers, songwriters, and resonator guitarists. You can be any one of these things or any combination of the three. Registration will open May 15, 2026 at 9am Central and campers will be taken on a first come, first served basis.

*The price for on-site lodging, tuition, and all meals is $1500. The day camper price (which includes tuition, breakfast, lunch, and snack) is $1200. We also offer dinner add-on options for day campers. There are many delightful hotels and Air Bnbs nearby if bunk sleeping is not your thing. Read the FAQs to learn more about the specifics. This price includes upgraded food choices, a ticket to the Grand Ole Opry, and jamming with special guests personally chosen by your friend Abbie Gardner.

*Registration will be first come, first picked, and numbers will be updated in real time on the registration page. There are only 8 spots for camp so please know that it will likely sell out quickly.

Pay Here! The PayPal button will appear here on May 15th at 9am Central. Here's how it works - first come, first served. We accept the first 8 campers who pay at least a deposit. We do also ask that you fill out the registration form (just below here) but it has no bearing on getting into camp and is a separate task from paying the deposit or full fee. You do not need a PayPal account to pay the non-refundable deposit. Just click on the option for using a card once you choose the option you want from the drop down menu. Please allow us up to an hour to confirm your camp attendance. If you paid a deposit but do not make it into camp, we will refund your deposit and place you on the waiting list.

NASHVILLE ACOUSTIC CAMPS ACCIDENT AND LIABILITY WAIVER

I,____________________, hereby acknowledge and agree that I am participating in the Nashville Acoustic Music Camps voluntarily and at my own risk. I understand that there are inherent risks associated with this activity, including but not limited to the risk of physical or emotional harm, and that these risks may be caused by my own actions or inactions, the condition of the premises or equipment used, or the actions or inactions of others participating in the event including, but not limited to, participants, volunteers, spectators, camp officials, and camp counselors, and/or producers of the event. I further understand that these risks may be increased by weather, natural conditions, or other unforeseen circumstances.

By signing this waiver, I hereby release, waive, discharge, and covenant not to sue Nashville Acoustic Camps and its directors, officers, employees, volunteers, instructors, or representatives (collectively, “Nashville Acoustic Camps”) from any and all liability, claims, demands, actions, and causes of action whatsoever arising out of or related to any loss, damage, or injury, including death, that may be sustained by me, or to any property belonging to me, whether caused by the negligence of the person or organization issuing this waiver or otherwise, while participating in this activity or event.

I further agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Nashville Acoustic Camps from any and all claims, demands, actions, and causes of action that may be brought by me or on my behalf, or by any other person claiming through or under me, for any loss, damage, or injury, including death, that may be sustained by me or any property belonging to me, as a result of my participation in this activity or event. I hereby consent to receive medical treatment which may be deemed advisable in the event of injury, accident, and/or illness that may occur.

I acknowledge and agree that this waiver is binding on me, my heirs, executors, administrators, and assigns. I have read this waiver and fully understand its terms and understand that I am giving up substantial rights by signing it. I sign this waiver freely and voluntarily, with full knowledge of its significance.

I agree that Nashville Acoustic Camps or any of its representatives has the right to any photos or any video/sound footage of me during the event. These photos, video footage and sound materials may be used for any marketing purposes.

This waiver shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Tennessee without giving effect to any choice of law or conflict of law rules.

If any provision of this waiver is held to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.

This waiver constitutes the entire agreement between the parties and supersedes all previous oral or written agreements or understandings.

Covid-19 Waiver

I acknowledge the contagious nature of COVID-19 and voluntarily assume the risk that I may be exposed to or infected by COVID-19 by participating in this activity. I understand that such exposure or infection may result in personal injury, illness, permanent disability, and death. I hereby release, waive, discharge, and covenant not to sue Nashville Acoustic Camps from any and all liability, claims, demands, actions, and causes of action whatsoever arising out of or related to any exposure to or infection by COVID-19, whether caused by the negligence of the person or Nashville Acoustic Camps or otherwise.

I further agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless the person or organization issuing the waiver from any and all claims, demands, actions, and causes of action that may be brought by me or on my behalf, or by any other person claiming through or under me, for any personal injury, illness, permanent disability, and death caused by exposure to or infection by COVID-19 as a result of my participation in this activity.

I represent and warrant that, to the best of my knowledge, I am not currently infected with COVID-19 and have not been diagnosed with COVID-19 in the past 14 days, nor have I been in close contact with any person who has been diagnosed with COVID-19 in the past 14 days. I further agree to comply with all safety guidelines provided by the person or organization issuing the waiver with regards to COVID-19 and follow any instruction given by the staff to protect other participants and staffs.

I understand that my participation in this activity is subject to my compliance with all state and local COVID-19 related regulations, guidelines and laws.

I CERTIFY THAT I HAVE READ THIS DOCUMENT AND I FULLY UNDERSTAND ITS CONTENT. I AM AWARE THAT THIS IS A RELEASE OF LIABILITY AND A CONTRACT AND I SIGN IT OF MY OWN FREE WILL. Nashville Acoustic Camps Code of Conduct

Nothing is more important to us than the well-being of our campers. We are vigilant about emotional safety as well as physical safety and creating a place where campers feel safe, supported in reaching their goals and accomplishing challenges, and where everyone can have fun. The Nashville Acoustic Camp requires all campers to read and agree to the following Camp Code of Conduct.

Please read the following rules very carefully. Unless otherwise stated, breaking any rule listed below may, at the discretion of the Nashville Acoustic Camp staff, result in immediate dismissal from camp with no refund of fees, and expulsion from any future Nashville Acoustic Camp event:

1. All participants are expected to treat their peers, instructors, and staff with respect and courtesy at all times. This includes refraining from using derogatory or insulting language, bullying or harassment, or any other behavior that is offensive or disruptive. Behaviors that constitute harassment and bullying include, but are not limited to: comments that are derogatory with respect to race, religion, gender, sexual orientation, color, body image, or disability; sexually suggestive, humiliating, or demeaning
comments; and threats to stalk, haze, or physically injure another person.

2. Participants are strictly prohibited from consuming illegal drugs while participating in the camp. Any participant found to be in violation of this rule, or found to be intoxicated from either alcohol or drugs, will be immediately dismissed from the camp without a refund. Camp staff have the authority to enforce this rule and determine whether a participant is in violation or is intoxicated.

3. Participants are strictly prohibited from possessing or using firearms while participating in the camp. Any participant found to be in possession of a firearm, or found to be using a firearm, will be immediately dismissed from the camp without a refund and the appropriate law enforcement authorities will be called upon. Camp staff have the authority to enforce this rule and determine whether a participant is in violation.

4. All participants are responsible for their personal belongings and equipment and will not hold Nashville Acoustic Camps responsible for their loss or damage due to the participant’s negligence or neglect.

5. All participants are responsible for the care and upkeep of camp property. Damage to any camp property will result in disciplinary action, which could include dismissal from the camp and/or financial responsibility for damages caused. Vandalism and theft will result in immediate dismissal from the camp. Please treat the buildings, property, equipment and furniture with care. If vandalism or theft occurs, those involved will be financially responsible for all expenses necessary for repair, and may be subject to referral to the appropriate law enforcement agency.

6. All participants are expected to present themselves in a professional manner at all times. This includes appropriate dress for rehearsals, classes, and performances, as well as appropriate behavior during rehearsals, classes, and performances.

7. All Participants should refrain from posting any photographs, videos, or information about their experiences at music camp on social media without permission of the camp management.

8. All participants are expected to comply with all safety measures set out by the camp management. This include but not limited to, wearing masks and following social distancing guidelines if required by the camp management. Any camper who violates rules and regulations makes themself liable for dismissal. The breaking of any civil law or city ordinance is grounds for automatic dismissal from the Nashville Acoustic Camp. Should you be dismissed for any of these reasons, you will be responsible for your immediate transportation home. Participants dismissed from camp at any time will not be
reimbursed any funds paid.

I have read the Code of Conduct stated above. I agree to abide by these rules and understand that if I break these rules and/or display inappropriate behavior, the result will be disciplinary action and/or dismissal from camp at the sole discretion of the Nashville Acoustic Camp. The Nashville Acoustic Camp’s decision will be final.
